The Egyptian Goddess Maat, she brings order, justice and divine balance. I’ve painted her often. This year I painted a large Maat behind Best End Brewer here in ATL located 1036 White Street, SW Atlanta, Ga 30310. She’s definitely a powerful presence in my life. Each time I create Maat I experience a powerful awakening that brings me more focus and clarity, so I give thanks.🙏🏽

A goddess of protection, magic, and medicine. The Queen of the Gods, mother of the earth and underworld. She provides fertility from the waves of the land, cultivated fields for harvest, and restores bodies of the dead so that they can live with her husband Osiris( God of death and resurrection). She represents a powerful, confident deity with divine feminine grace.✨
